Dear Susan Davis,

I am writing to you today to make a case for renewable energy sources. I am Lisette Figueroa, and i am in the 6th grade at High Tech Middle Media Arts. First off, i would just like to thank you for all that you have done so far in this community, such as being a member of The Congressional Animal Friends Caucus, and helping protect wild and domesticated animals. As an animal lover , i have to say many people really appreciate that you care about the issues not only dealing with money and politics, but our animals also .Next, I would like to say, that i feel that it is very important that we use renewable energy sources, because future pollution to our planet, as you already know, is very hazardous to the people of the future. The dangerous include;

-Future Pollution to our environment, including our animals and plants.
-Future Pollution to our air which is hazardous to asthmatics like myself.
-More damage to our ozone layer will add on to the result of global warming.

There is also a lot of benefits of switching to renewable energy, such as a lot of people will save money, along with the government, because renewable energy is much cheaper to make than non-renewable energy. Also, there will be less pollution in the air, beacuse creating renewable does not but pollution into the air, like coal does. Also, by switching to renewable energy sources,there will be economical benefits. This is because using renewable energy sources are a lot cheaper, so there will be extra money in the economy. This will help us politically because if we have more renewable energy sources, then we won't have to ship oil over seas from other countries, and our government will have more money, which ties back into the economical benefits.

We will also have benefits socially because by switching to renewable energy sources, we will have more money in our economy and government, meaning that more people will have more money, and will have to spend less money on things such as gas and oil.

Future generation will have to suffer from our decisions if we continue to use non-renewable energy sources, such as coal and petroleum. If we continue to not care, and push this issue aside, and this problem will be 10 times worse. So help the future, and please take switching to renewable energy into consideration. I know that many people will greatly appreciate it!

When I Was Called a Freak

Have i ever been called a freak?

I have not ever really been called a freak, but i have felt like i didn't belong, or i was an outsider. Sometimes, when i am with a group of people, and they all know each other, and i don't know anyone. That makes me really feel like an outsider or something.

So we just started this book called Freak and Mighty. We havn't really read much, only 2 chapters, but so far I've learned that Mighty is really big, and a bully, and doesn't really have friends. Then Freak is a little guy that had to have leg braces and crutches when he was little. I havn't read that much of the book yet, so there will be more to come about this book!!!

Review On Harry Potter

Review On Harry Potter 5

Today I read a chapter of harry potter and the order of the pheonix. This book is a fictional book, about a youing wizard named Harry Potter. In this book, Albus Dumbledore has created a orgonazation that is helping fight against Lord Voldermort, because he is coming back to power. On this chapter, dumbledore has just flead hogwarts, so the headmaster at rite now is Dolores Umbridge, Hogwart's high inquisiter, meaning that she is like the 2nd headmaster at hogwarts. She is also the secretary for the minister of majic, and the defense against the dark arts teacher, meaning that the Ministry og Magic is interfiering with hogwarts.

Also, harry wants to talk to his godfather, Sirius, so he goes into Umbridge's fire, to use floo powder to talk to Sirius through there fireplaces. Fred and George Weasly create a distraction ao that Harry can get into her office. Then, after creating a swamp in the hallway, they leave hogwarts for good.

I chose this piece to read because i love harry potter, and this was a really exciting chapter for me.

I think that readers should read harry potter, because it is just so fun to go to another world that is so fun and exciting, and all of the books are just as good as the others.

The author's theme is fictional, and wizardish, if that is a theme :]

The posotuve reprecussion on this chapter is that harry potter gets imforation from Sirius that he has wanted to know, and that Fred and George finally leave hogwarts and go to start their buisness like they have been wanting to do for a long time.

The consoquences for the characters in this story are that after this insident, there will be al lot of strict rules from Umbridge, and that Harry doesn't have Occulmencry lessons anymore which he needs to have from Snape.
